Just in time for Valentine’s Day, a new dating service led by the former owner of a local modeling agency has launched in Austin. But it’s not just any dating service — Perfect Profile wants to glam up your online persona in a big way.
Austin-based Perfect Profile says its services “help singles represent themselves in the truest form.”
“Many singles today are extremely busy and have not taken the time to create a thoughtful profile that truly showcases who they are. We will work with the client and get to know their personality so it shines through,” founder Justin Brown, former owner of modeling firm The Brown Agency, tells CultureMap.
Among the services Perfect Profile provides to help clients achieve that shine:
Hair and makeup consultationDating adviceWardrobe and styling consultationPhotography session, including makeup and stylingCreation or revision of up to three profiles on dating platforms such as Bumble and Tinder
“There are also older singles and divorcees who might not be familiar with the dating apps of today, so our services will help them create the best profile,” he adds. “Jumping back into the dating scene can be extremely difficult — our goal is to make it streamlined and easy.”
You can purchase Perfect Profile’s services a la carte, or bundle them at a cost of $1,800. Free consultations are available.
Brown oversees dating profiles and photography, while lead stylist Leah Trogan handles makeup, hair, and wardrobe. Their aim is to capture the “best you” but do so “in the most authentic and flattering way.”
Perfect Profile says its objective expertise will help people “attract their perfect partner while saving singles time and disappointment.”
“My experience in this industry has provided me with tremendous insight into the world of first impressions, which is so important with online dating,” Brown says in a release. “One of the hardest parts of online dating is creating your profile and describing who you truly are, through photos and thoughtful reflective writing. Our team has over 10 years of experience and can provide expertise to help daters find the best match.”
For now, Perfect Profile’s services are available only in Austin. The company hopes to expand to Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio in late 2020.
To celebrate its Austin launch, Perfect Profile is giving away two of its dating packages. Entries can be submitted on the company’s website. Winners will be announced on Valentine’s Day.
